Cipio Partners Welcomes Nils Matthies as Principal

Munich/Luxembourg – May 23, 2024 – Cipio Partners, a leading investment firm for European growth capital and minority buyouts in technology companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nils Matthies as Principal in its investment team.

Nils brings a wealth of experience in both private equity and the software sector to Cipio Partners. 

He previously served as Associate Director at AEQUITA PRIVATE EQUITY. Prior to that, Nils founded and led the VOITH DIGITAL INNOVATION LAB, a joint venture between The Boston Consulting Group and Voith incubating SaaS products in the industrial market.  

Early in his career, Nils was a case team leader at Siemens Management Consulting working on assignments in Siemens’s various software businesses and was a founding member of Next 47, Siemens’s corporate venture fund. 

Nils holds a Master in Strategy and International Management (SIM) from University of St. Gallen.
