Since 2021 we have actively worked to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and offset any unavoidable emission through compensation projects. In addition to these projects, we support the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
Our annual donation to Sea Shepherd reflects more than just financial support - it’s a symbol of the values we share. Both of us are relatively small, but highly focused organizations with a clear mission and vision. We make a significant impact in our respective fields through dedication, precision and relentless pursuit of our goals. Both Cipio and Sea Shepherd rely on a loyal group of supporters who believe in their cause, enabling agility and responsiveness, while delivering value.
The health of oceans is critical to Earth’s ecosystems. By protecting marine biodiversity, Sea Shepherd tackles larger environmental issues like climate change, pollution, and habitat destruction. As a non-profit, their funding directly supports conservation efforts.
Sea Shepherd is known for bold - sometimes controversial – but always non-violent direct-action campaigns. Whether it’s blocking whaling vessels or cutting illegal fishing nets, they take action when others may only raise awareness or advocate for policy changes. Using drones and satellite tracking to catch illegal fishing activities, they lead in technology-driven ocean conservation.
Sea Shepherd has, at times, rammed and sunk vessels that were engaged in illegal activities, but these actions have always been carried out with strict adherence to their non-violent principles, never causing a single injury. Their mission to defend, conserve, and protect our oceans and marine life remains unwavering.
Many of Sea Shepherd’s most impactful campaigns have been conducted in collaboration with international law enforcement agencies, including Interpol, further strengthening their efforts to uphold the law on a global scale.
Cipio is proud to stand alongside Sea Shepherd today as they continue their courageous fight to protect our oceans.
